What advice can you give people to succeed in life?

For me, succeeding in life is really a matter of perseverance, patience, determination, and passion to excel. I remember a friend who once told me that one key to failure is to please everybody. I think he's right for pleasing people sometimes makes us pretend just to be accepted. Just get real: be yourself.

Please visit your favourite place alone.
Sit calm and quite for some time,this will help you to concentrate.Review yourself sincerely.find your strengths and weaknesses.
Then decide your goals,work smart not hard to achieve them.
Always have broad vision.Success will follow you.
But always remember and do something.your family,friends and nation.

oh! thanks for such wonderful comment! you made my day ashokpethkar. by the way, my real name is christine, but i'm already used to people calling me charm since it's my screen name, and my family knows about it. regarding my primary pic, that's my nephew, son of my cousin who works in dubai with her husband. her sister, me, my mom, my dad and other cousins, take good care of the baby. right now, he's turning 2yrs and 4 mos old. he used to have a long hair, but lately we had it cut in a barber shop because its becoming thin. and because of his new haircut, people here no longer mistaken him as a baby girl. ^_^

You cant please everybody.. and therefore i think that it is better to stay postive all throughout, and take the life as it comes and dont brood over the spilt milk.

Don't give two winks about what people think of you. The only time impressions matter are for interviews. Past that, if somebody doesn't like you for you, tell them to take a hike.
