Do you have a hero? Who is it? What attributes do they have that you look up to?
My mom is one of my heroes. She is strong despite adversity, and resilient in her spirit. She is loving and kind.
Jesus Christ is my biggest hero. He is the ultimate example of selflessness, humility, and love. We can never learn enough from Him!
Who's your hero?

Mine would also have to be my mother - she's just a beautiful person who would give away everything she has just to know that others have something. She was put through the ringer as a child by being raised by a Great Aunt & Uncle while her 10 siblings grew up with her real parents. So I am always amazed at how much she has truly accomplished in her life so far. She has taught at every level in school, directed a program for expecting teenagers making sure they got everything they needed. Counseled at risk teens aiding in their care at home. Taught ESL to many adults who don't speak english. I could go on and on about her!!!! Just by watching her through her life - it's been a life learning experience!!!

(Besides Christ--that's beautiful, btw) my hero is my husband. He went out at 18--well actually he signed up at 17-- and enlisted in the Navy. He spent 18 months in training, flew up the ranks, and did so well that he was told to apply for the Naval Academy, and got in. He survived four years there, and is now serving as an officer. It amazes me that at the time my friends and I, and most of our classmates, were looking forward to going to college, partying, and maybe someday growing up, he knew what he wanted to do, and that is give up normal life, risk his very life, for our country. And he's a wonderful husband and an awesome father to boot!

My mother is also my biggest hero. she is the strongest, most diplomatic, compassionate, giving, thoughtful, non-judgemental and emotionally intelligent person I know. There is not a single situation she cannot overcome, and she has sacrificed so much for her family, yet she still manages to remain centred and grounded, and true to her self. She is absolutely amazing.
