does mylot really have to delete discussions before changing your star number?
i have post a new discussion yesterday about the minor car accident we have but its been deleted! :( and now i have noticed that my star number goes up... its ten now..
is it one of the reason? please tell me...

Stars change depending on what we perform here, your deleted post might be just a fraction of you overall participation here. So I guess, the deleted post of yours have a very minimal effect your day-to-day activity.
I am glad that your ratings has increased, as I'm very sure you deserve it. My only advice to you is to keep on participating and hope that you could maintain your status of a blue star with a ten!;) Just don't be much affected and caried-away by it, as I've checked your ratio and you're still in-between the 9 and 10 star border..
As for me, I'm still experiencing some deletion s as of late that I'm having a hard time to return to my usual 10 star!;)

The star rating has nothing to do with your discussions being deleted. They are deleting a lot of perfectly fine discussions that are not against the guidelines. But your star number went up because you just got more high ratings, not because of the deleted discussion.

If you haven't noticed there's quite a phenomenon going around with discussions regarding deleted posts. Apparently this is happening to a lot of folks. The posts do not violate guidelines and yet the posts seem to disappear.
It has nothing to do with your star.

Oh, wow, jhoen. I responded to that post you made about the minor car accident. I didn't see anything wrong with it. I don't think it violated any mylot guidelines. Geez. How come so many innocent posts have been deleted?
I didn't actually notice that it got deleted, until I read this post.
To answer your star rating being changed, I do not think there was any relation to that post being deleted.
