How is TRP calculated????

Do u knw hw it is calculated??does it depend on the no. of ads or what criteria???ne ideas????

I also dont have the sure way how they calculate the trps,but in my knowledge they get to know by the calculation they get from the cable satellite that this many time the people have watched a particular serial or match.
As i have idea it is done as such by the calculation from the satellite and it would be limited to some 5 minutes that they have watched continuously.
