Once you're a parent do you ever really get enough sleep again?

Not until they grow up and move out...wait...my kids are grown and live on their own, so my answer is NO! Once you are a parent, each child is your baby no matter how old they are! My babies are 30, 25, and 20 years of age!

my son just got a big bed and every morning now he jumps out and runs into my room and jumps on me.....not a nice way to wake up.

Sleep? What's that? LOL I get to sleep extra sometimes when my fiancee comes home from work and takes over baby duty.

Sure, you do get plenty of time to sleep someday when your kid goes off to college -on one condition: you must survive the first 18 years of raising a child. And believe me, lacking of sleep for 18 years is a looooong time.

yes, usually try to sleep when they sleep and things they can help with make fun with it. then school comes in and other things later, but guess it just depends on your situations

Every now and then. The best thing is to try and nap when your kids do...it worked for me.

No. I have two kids and I don't think I've slept the entire night through since the first one was born! I suppose it just comes with the territory. LOL

Yeah, my husband takes the baby down in the morning to feed and play with her sometimes and let me sleep another hour.
