Toronto maple leafs have spread many rumors and starting out good and winning the cup this season.
They put in a new goalie and many other changes, and so far are playing pretty good.
How many of you think toronto will have a change this season?
Many people are already getting excited and are cheering.
I for one think they will make it furthur than last year, but judging from the few games theve had already do not think they will come close or actually win the cup.

I think Toronto doesn't have a prayer of winning the Cup, this season or any other season. Not until they start making REAL changes.
They need to get rid of the general manager, and possibly the ownership itself. The GM is clueless and inexperienced, and every decision he makes is scrutinized and has to be approved by a bunch of corporate suits who know nothing about hockey.
The team doesn't really have to try, because they know that the seats will always be full and they're guaranteed to be profitable. Fans in Toronto will never give up on the team, so regardless of how crappy they play, they keep making money. I can't believe the balls they have, putting a sub-par team out on the ice and charging pay-per-view to watch the games on LeafTV. Not only that, they charge bar owners MORE to show the games in their bars.
They refuse to develop their minor league players. There are no draft picks. They've all been traded. There are no decent up-and-coming players. And with the salary cap, they can't simply buy a good player anymore. They have no defense. They score goals, but then end up losing the game in the 3rd period because they can't keep the puck out of their own net.
Let's face it; the team is a mess, and without some serious changes, it's not going to get better. To most of the league, the Leafs are a joke. And the team management can't simply come out and say that they're going to take a few years to develop the team and that they probably won't be in the playoffs for a while. Other teams have done it, to great success, such as Ottawa, Pittsburg, Anaheim, etc. But fans won't accept it. They want the dream of the Cup, and want a contender for the playoffs every year. It's just not going to happen.
