When you say "anime", are you refering to japanese anime? If you are, I recommand Claymore. I think the storyline is pretty unique.

i would recommend to you the following: (not in order) Naruto Bleach (doesn't almost everyone watch these two series?) Katekyo Hitman Reborn Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge Hellsing Read or Die

Well, my fave anime is Slam Dunk, but it's not adventure he he he...but it's VERY VERY funny and addictive. ;-D Maybe you can check it out! ;-D

Try Eureka7 interesting world, nice animation, good music. but it's robotic(some people hates robot). Avatar: the last Airbender(great animation quality for tv show).

I recommend DEATHNOTE, this is a good anime..! it is a more than the usual detective story! just watch this anime and be amazed on this unique anime.! one of a kind anime! and the author is genius!
