From what I was told, Akon had the incident with the underage girl, but he also talk to his mom for doing things she really didn't want to do in order to raise him and his siblings.I got that specifically out of the song. But at least he's man enough to say well it's on me if you'd like.

I think he is aplogising for the mistakes he made and also dedicating it to all men that is or was in the same situtation.

Yeah. It seems like he's dedicating the song to someone. My guess would be his family.. which includes his mother, wife and his son. I'm just basing my answer through the lyrics of the song.. Because he was too busy with all his records, albums and tours, he has left his family, his responsibility.. and as time goes on, he has realized all the mistakes he did. and that's why he's saying "sorry" and that they should put all the blame on him.
I think it may be based from Akon's real life.. and if it's true, I'm happy that he made this song.. to say sorry to his family. Best of luck!

Erm, I think its to some underage girl that got up on stage at one of his concerts and the touched her inappropriately or something like that. Not sure, just taking a guess off the top of my head here.
