The days have gone when cricket use to be taken not as a game by the player but whole life. People like Amarnath, Kapil, Srikant who thought nothing other than cricket. The present situation is quite different. The game has become the entry gate for the world of glamour and money. Easiest way of becoming rich and famous. The most cricketers are found less on the filed but more on the ramps of modeling. They don't find time for practice, once they taste the luxary of being cricketer. Above all the sporting spirit has died somewhere. How could you call them cricketers? Aren't they modeling for cricket?

You are absolutely right, cricket has become more glamorous and page 3 type these days and has lost its old glory. This is due to all the money involved in it and cricketers have started playing only for money rather than for the game itselft, this is very bad for the game.

I won't agree with you that theya re meant for only ramping and they are not practicing the match. If they have not done then how they grab the T20 world cup.I agree that standards are changing.as time laps the taste of audience is also changing. Now a days patience is decreasing because of lot of work pressure and most o fpeople are showing interset to see matches which completed in hours.
