Why are people so ugly when someone dies?

You're right marciascott. It does seem if "ugliness" comes out in some people when a loved one passes away. I've seen it happen many times in my life and have watched grief and greed tear families apart. It is so sad and certainly not what the departed would hope for.

Yes, I agree with you. some families won't even speak to one another. thay is so sad, I always tell people God said forgive and forget, it is better maybe you won't forget but we all can forgive. some people are just too dam stubborn that is all. They hold grudges for a long time.

Greediness and lust for money is the root cause for all the sufferings in everyones' life.. Money comes and goes, by creating woes and foes.. and hence there is no special, i feel, in the context you have described..
Might be an extra bit of duel.. to inherit the inheritance..

Its not always like that. It depends on the people completely. I have never had that kind of experience. My family has lost alot to dealth and we all stood by each other. Thats what a family is for. Sure it can become ugly but thats only if your greety and dont really care about the person who has passed.
