My father, mother, and three other sisters are members of a shooting club. Twice a year they organize a second hand to earn some money to use for the club. Today we had one of these. It is a big second hand and very popular. Many come to shop used things. The money uses for ammunition, rent for local, travelings, and other stuff a club needs. I helped today and made a sale of a bit over $100 on used flowerpots. It was pretty god.
Now, I usually do find something to get for my self. But Did not today. But is there anyone els earning/buying from second-hands? I mean you can get very god stuff sometimes.
How do you feel buying used stuff?

Why make fun of it. It is a great way to get stuff with a god bargain. And yes The smell of old things are not of the hook. There are many people looking for old stuff to sell in their own antic shops with higher price. You can actually find god things with greater value than many times a second hand organized by folks in homes ma bee are not wear of.
the best part is if the benefiter are kids. Kids do not have many things to do at no cost so to organize things like this are a great way to make the kids who can not afford doing a great thing on their spare time have something to do.
Thank you for responding and I wish you a great sunday.

Used things do not have to be bad. Used things are sometime better to get than new stuff. When I do say so I mean the things made many many years ago when people did things by hand and not machines. The quality of those things were better and more keep able. But some things are not even considering to buy and are to go to trash.

I think, here in America, this is a very common thing. Garage sales, thrift stores, consignment shops, and Goodwill stores are EVERYWHERE. It's kind of funny, I think the world might think of us as materialistic, but with the way the economy is here, it's become very "chic" to find something unique and vintage. I sell my second hand stuff on ebay and sometimes will do pretty well, a new excuse to shop for something new :)

When you really take look at the things that go for second hand sells it is really god stuff. Many things are barely used. And you can get bargains for a little single penny. But we do have some of those who are looking for antics to. They buy up and sell it in their shops.
I like to do business this way when the money are well spent. This is a way for others to benefit from it. And I special like it when kids are the benefiter.
