how long do you sleep a day?

hi. everybody, how long do you sleep a day? how long is a ideal sleeping time?
if you are tired at the time you shoud be concentrated, for example in the class, what will you do to make yourself clear-headed and energetic? or you just go sleeping no matter what will happened when you are tired?

I used to sleep eight hours a day. However, there are times when I have to work overnight, so I might sleep six hours a day.
During rest day, I see to it that I sleep more than eight hours a day, so that I will regain my energy that was lost.

I suffer from insomnia on and off (more on than anything), so currently I'm lucky to get 2 - 3 hours sleep a night. The problem is, once it really begins to set in, I then find it difficult to process things properly because I'm always so tired.
Even when I can sleep more easily, it's never for more than 6 hours.
It does't help that I'm a light sleeper, so even the smallest noises can wake me up.

I sleep 4 hours during weekdays and varies greatly during weekends. Sometimes i don't sleep at all on Saturdays and I have also experienced sleeping like 15 hrs straight during the weekends.

I sleep for four hours a day. But experts say that a person with normal health should sleep for Eight hours a day. Eight hours are average time of sleeping for a person with normal health. But I sleep more normal health average sleeping. I want to control it but I could not get the goal. The day does not passed good, when I sleep less than 9 hours. So it is very important for me to complete the sleep of 9 hours. I could not perform my duties or routine work in case of taking less sleep. So I use to try to complete my sleeping hours, I think it is better for my physical and mental health.

I usually sleep about 5 to 6 hours a night. i should try to get more sleep, but sometimes if I sleep longer than that, I still feel tired and sluggish. SO maybe for now that is all I need. most often I am pretty clear headed and energetic in the morning. Sometimes it is hard for me to get to sleep, but lately it hasn't been.
