anyone have any thoughts on cena's thoughts on his hurt arm? it is legit. he was hurt monday night and had to have surgery on his arm after a match with ken kennedy (another wrestler for those that dont keep up). he suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and needed surgery it was down to the bone. He is said to be out for anywhere from 6 months to a year and probably will miss Wrestlemania. Anyone care to give their thoughts and such on all this? Pictures of during the match, after the match, and during the surgery are below. WARNING: IMAGE CONTAINS ACTUAL SURGERY SCENE. It has been blackened for my safety (so i dont get in trouble with mylot) and for others. My two cents, lets hear yours.
Peace Out

Well, yeah, I know for a fact, that the injury is legit.
Here is why I know that.
First of all, the injury wasn't part of any storyline, because if it was, then they would've had Randy Orton play some part in it.
Second, they don't show Operating Room footage for kayfabe injuries.
Third, you can actually see the exact point where it happened during the match with Kennedy, it starts when Cena gave the face crusher to Kennedy, and then it got worse with the hip toss, I think that's where the complete tear of the pectoral muscle happened.
Fourth, with all the superstars out and RAW really running low on good stars, I don't think they would intentionally take out the biggest star carrying the show.
It's an unfortunate incident, for RAW, for Cena and for Cena's fans like me.
At least he is still champ and only has to lose the title because of a technicality, and I'm so looking forward to his return at Wrestlemania.
I don't care what cena haters say, I mean it's one thing to hate a wrestler and it's another when people are actually happy that a person is seriously injured, that is just sick. I mean there are wrestlers I don't like too, but I respect all of them, because they can do things that not everyone can, and I think that deserves respect. Truly speaking, they literally earn their keep by their blood and sweat.
Well, thanks for the topic, i needed a good rant, he he.

good response and well put. i totally agree. they are showing footage right now on the wwe website of the actual operation and such of what happened to his arm so you know that it happened and all that. also you are right they wouldn't take out one of the last biggest stars just for a "promo" so he could be out for 6 months. They say vince is outraged because this has happened and i dont doubt it. He has so many of his top guys out of action right now he needs to try to get some of them back off the shelf though i hear Jerico is due to sign a contract back with wwe and many of the smackdown stars may be coming to raw due to Cena's injury.
Peace Out

Yeah, well, as you know by now, that Shawn Michaels has come back, and last weeks' raw was superbly written. It is nice to see that the writers are working extra hard to make things more interesting now that the champ is gone. It is sad that they had to take such a blow to realize that though.
I still hear the Jericho is set to return probably at cyber Sunday.

ya i know jericho is due to come back soon and yes HBK is back and i see him getting the title before too long. i think they will let orton have a little run with it not sure if they will make him lose it at cyber sunday just yet or not lol. with as much as he loses it so fast it wouldn't surprise me really if they do take it from him again. with mcmahon saying "im not gonna give that to you" when the fans were chanting jericho the one time it makes me think as to how soon he is really gonna be back. not sure on that one yet but time will tell though its gonna be soon for sure because they are in need of some superstars as most of their main talent is out of action at the moment. My two cents on this one.
Peace Out

far as cena bein gone dont worry time goes by quick with injuries in wwe. with DX gonna come to an end soon?, they were just getting started and i have a feeling they are going to kick things up again very quickly again since hbk and HHH are both back in action. why would they split them? that is one of the most idiodic things they could probably do is to split DX. Though i have seen wwe do some things before that have made me go "huh"? so it wouldn't really surprise me if they did to a point. But it wouldn't be a good move in my thoughts. DX should be used for all its worth once again, its still something the fans like to a certain point. Don't over do it but use it and let the fans enjoy what is left of DX and have fun with it. My two cents.
Peace Out

I think that maybe he will be stripped and vince might decide to do some battle royal for the belt where a certain wrestler will return and steal the whole entire show!!! :)

I hate it for the Cena, that he was stripped of the title but that is just the way it is. Cena is not a wrestler, he is a stand up guy that will beat you down with his brute force and not his finesse wrestling skills. However, hs is also a man that dont follow orders from anyone esp. McMahon thats why I love his character on WWE. Dont worry, when he comes back they will give him another shot at the title. I am just curious if he will come back as a face or heel. Look at Triple H he has flopped back and forth himself being a face and heel. Long live the CHAMP, JOHN CENA...THE CHAMP IS HERE!!!
