Comedy a little slow lately on Colbert

It seems like a couple of months ago I was laughing my butt off watching the Colbert Report, but lately it is just sort of, huh? Anyone else notice anything different about Colbert?

I have noticed this too, I think it is the guest it seems to me like they are really having a harder time getting people to come on the show so they will get who ever they can weither it makes for good TV or not.

I am glad I'm not the only one that noticed. I was afraid I was losing my funny bone lol. I hope they do something about it because I really like the show, but if it keeps up like it is it won't last much longer. I don't think people are patient enough to wait too many episodes for it to turn around.

My guess it that the writing staff or whoever is working there is just running out of ideas, hopefully they will find a muse or some sort of insperation to help them out.
