I've been going down to Chicago for as long as I can remember. I love the city and the shopping. Wrigley Field of course is awesome to go to in the summer for a game if you can get tickets. Michigan Ave during Oct-Dec is awesome. I've been down there during a beautiful snow and with it all lit up is just really beautiful. I'm hoping I can talk my dad into going down after Thanksgiving just to look around. I've actually never been in any of the bldgs before-except Sears a very long time ago. I did however go to the Shedd Aquarium(12 yrs ago) and the Science and Industry Museum (15 yrs ago) so I'd like to see those places again.

Chicago is one of my favorite cities. It's kind of weird because I haven't really done much there. I've been there three times and there is just something special there. The first time I went with my father and we just went to a place where he was picking some products up. The other two times were to see my sister and I's fave band, Kill Hannah. They're from Chicago and every year they do a special "New Heart For Christmas" concert. Thefirst year it was at the House Of Blues and the second time it was at the Metro. Both were cool venues and they have cool architecturial interiors. Most of the venues I go to here at home are very industrial (old converted factory type buildings...or atleast they look that way), so I liked that. When I went I pretty much just left my house, drove four hours, got inline for the show, went to the show, met band dudes afterwards and then left for home. I'd love to visit the city and wander around taking pictures. I'd also like to visit the wonderful museums and go to Navy Pier.

Hi Fishergrl, I too enjoy the city of Chicago, many things to do, beautiful attractions and a wide variety of people. I was born in West Chicago then my parents moved down to Southern Illinois. I try to go when ever I can just for a visit. Unfortunately its been some years since I was there for pleasure. I enjoy Navy Pier, its beautiful down on the lake front especially at night. They have one of the US's tallest Ferris Wheels and when your up top you can see all over the North Side and out over Lake Michigan. Its gorgeous! You can also take a boat ride and relax. Its like a mini carnival on the shore line. The last time I was there, all down Michigan Ave they had these huge plaster cows, painted with many different colors and patterns. It was pretty entertaining, they were big enough to sit on and so me and my friend climbed up and took some pix. It was fun! I love the hustle and bustle of the city, all the stores and things. I just dont think I would like to live there, its one thing to visit but I like the country life more! Bay xx
