Please help!!! My son, 11 and in 5th grade, is constantly in trouble for talking in class. We have fought through this for years and it is now hurting his grades deeply because he is missing important information. I have literaly tried everything! Grounding, spending more time with him, etc. Even my parents are stumped! I talked more than I should have in school, but got nearly straight A's. So if you have ANY ideas, please post them, I am nearly desperate! Thanks!

This is a problem I know but what is the reason why your son is talking so much? Mayby he doesn't like school ore is he just borred. Do you think he lost interest in school and does he get bad grades? ore is he a good student? My son was also bored at school and started to talk a lot to his fellow students. I think it's a job for the teacher to see that your son is a good student and a little bit yours offcourse but mayby the problem is just the teacher.
