Same here.
I do like cats but they are too much of a responsibility to handle with all the other stuff to do.

Yes i dont have any pets here at home but i love to take care of animals.But as you said it will be a responsibilty to handle.Honestly i want to have puppy here i mean dog.But im just afraid dog will bite the kids.hehehe.Because i can see in television that there pets bites the owner,so that what im afraid of.

I agree.
Dogs can be very voilent. Even the pet, trained, trusted ones. I was always afraid of dogs, until I saw in The Mask (a cartoon character) that dogs can sense fear.
From then on, I would just pretend to be brave.
And, as I got to know later, prolonged 'as-if' results in permanent changes in habits.
Therefore, I actually like dogs now. But keeping them clean is hard.
I once had some birds. But my sympathetic part got the best of me and I freed them. I had pairs of peacocks, peasants, parrots and paradise bird.
