Which resolution will suit my monitor?

now i have bought 17" monitor , which resolution shud i set , 800 X 600 or 1024 X 768

Wel i have 15" CRT Monitor with 800x600 resolution. i think 800x600 resolution is good for all types of monitor (CRT , LCD). i never used 1024x768. thanks buddy for this dicussion.

It would depend on how you would see it if which would be suitable for you
