Have you ever used pirated software? Until today, I have never consciously done so. Today, I have lost my virginity. There was a piece of software that I needed that I could not get in my country. I could not find an open source program that would do what I needed it to. so I downloaded my first torrent file. It worries me, this could become addicting and it is far too easy. I have discovered a whole new world out there and a whole lot of goodies that I would love to have. Have you ever download torrents of copyrighted software? I realize it is illegal, but it is so easy! This is true temptation. Have you ever faced it. How did you deal with it?

mansha Here is short course on getting all the software you could ever want or need. The first step is to get a good download manager. I use one called Free Download Manager. It is available at;
http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
It is free to download and does an excellent job.
Before you even think about using pirated software take a look at open source software. There is a lot available now and you can find programs as good or almost as good as anything commercially available. It is all free to use and it never expires so you don't have to worry about how you're going to replace it. This link will take you to a list of 480 open-source programs. You can find almost anything you need there;

If you can't find what you need there, then it is time to start thinking about pirated stuff. This link will take you to a good beginner's guide. I have checked most of its recommendations, and they are quite good. If you want to start downloading torrents, first, you will need a torrent client. I use Azureus and am quite happy with it. The link to the guide is;

Once you've decided you want to try downloading torrents, you need some place to look for them. I have found this search engine is about the best there
is;
http://www.completorrent.com/
I would urge you to have a good anti-virus program installed before you do any of this I've downloaded quite a few torrents and have never had a problem, but you'd never know. Good luck and happy pirating.

I admit that I used pirated commodities. But learned my lessons already. Because it ruined some of our appliances. Better patronage original ones. Though much higher in price but it's worth the quality.

I use sometimes but I usually don't get my video games (I am a big fan of video games) from the net, instead I just buy some from the street. There are a lot of bootlegged game and movie DVDs with small prices so you are very much tempted when you see it.
