I am $15.00 richer tonight....

I've found money in odd places sometimes. I used to find money in jacket pockets. I haven't found any large amounts of money lately, so I'm definitely not any more richer than I was before. And now is the time I could really use some extra cash!

two days ago. When I put my hands to the pockets of the coat which been put to my body the first time this winter. I am so supprised that my hands touched something. And when I take it out. It is 23rmbs. I am so happy I found it when I am short of money. Because I still not ge my salary this month. Haha..... thanks for gods. I forgot to put it on the pockets of this coat last winter.

Wow- that's fun! I rarely come across unexpected money. I usually know what's in my wallet to the penny, lol. My hubby tends to leave cash in his pockets, so sometimes it turns up in the wash!

I did this once. We'd changed our phone number at the phone company and they sent us our deposit back and I didn't know and stuck the letter in with regular mail. A couple of weeks later, going through all the mail, I opened it and there was a $50.00 check for us LOL Talk about a pleasant surprise! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

thats so cool when stuff like that happens,i have done that a few times where i find money in places that i totally forgot about putting there,the most i find was a $50 bill that i had in one of my old jewelry boxes that i just forgot about,that was so neat when i find it.pattie

That must have been suprising. yes I have I was walkin in the park and i noticed soemthing that looked like a 10 dollar bill under a leaf. sure enough it was. I went to mccdonalds and got me soemthign to eat. thanks to the person's money ofcourse lol

Good thing that you thought to open the envelope before tossing it away. The only time I find money is when I go through my pocketbook or when I happen to find some coins in the washer or dryer.

That's a great surprise for you. I sometimes come across money that I hid away months ago for something and then forgot about it.

Yes I have. When I was still a performer myself I used to get paid in cash every Saturday for any and all gigs our band played while working on the road. Dont ask me how I had forgotton about this, but I figure it is because at the time while I was a road musician and entertainer, I honestly made more money than I could spend while on the road, altho Lord knows I tried LOL. Anyway, one day about 6 years after I had stopped doing road work, I was going thru some old papers that where mostly letters from fans, and memorabilia from Hotels and Clubs I had played at, and lo and behold, I opened an envelope and out fell $1000 in cash. I was stunned, and shocked, but thrilled as all heck. I couldnt believe that a whole thousand had slipped by me un-noticed, but was really glad, cause at that time, just before Christmas, I really needed the extra cash.

Well, my wife and I, before we were married, actually found $40 in the weirdest place. Shoved up the bum of a dragon! Ok, it was a dragon statue with a hole in the base, and my wife must've stuck it there one day when she was highly medicated, as it was a good surprise for both of us!

I occasionally, but not so often, find a few dollars that I never removed from a receipt where I got back change from the store. It doesn't happen often, since the majority of my money, is spent from week to week, mostly on pet food and supplies. Every now and then, well, more like once in a blue moon, I find a 20.00 bill that I stashed and forgot about.

I have come across money in weird spots but I usually spend it right away so I dont feel like its that exciting. There have been two times when I found a twenty dollar bill on the floor. : )

Wow thats a great find! One day as I was walking in a parking lot I found a twenty dollar bill thats the best find I have ever had!

Back some yrs. ago, I always put $$ in a box to save up for a Rainy day. One time I was cleaning out that box for some reason, and came upon a $20 in there. I was quite Happy with the find, and actually, that was back when $20 was a little more $$ that it is worth now.

Good for you! As a matter of fact I did yesterday at my Aunts house when I was doing my laundry I found a couple of crinkled up bills on the floor. I had washed and dryed them.LOL But they were only a couple of dollars.LOL Enjoy you money!

Hehe congratulations on finding the extra bucks :D Never found money I forgot myself, or hidden somewhere. Only kind of money Ive found are dropped money lol. Once at a disco I found a 500DK bill (rougly 90$), and that certainly left a smile on my face :D

thats so lucky. i love finding money. i once found $50 that i had hidden in a 'safe place' a few months before. it took me a while to work out why it was there, but i was really happy. only thing is, i wish i could find some now.hehe best wishes to you, feona, and take care

I helped a friend of mine also a coworker when she and her mom were hit by a driver while in a pedistrian cross walk. her mom had a broken pelvis and my friend suffered a broken ankle.I took her her mail and ran several errands for my friend while she was laid up. later she gave me a heavy suede coat because she thought I was not dressed warm enough. The coat was made for size ten which I was not but Itook it and put it in my closet. One day I was cleaning out my closet and I picked up that coat deciding to send it to GoodWill. I shoved my hand intoone of the pockets and found an envelope. It was adressed to me and said thanks Patsie for all your help. I opened the envelope and inside were two twenty dollar bills. I had almost lost those as I might not have checked the pockets. I found that money came in pretty handy.
