Obviously, I'm taking about your relationship with your personal computer. Recently it has been found in a survey that majority of people spend more time with their computer than with thier significant other, intensifying personal problems and creating tension amongst couples. What do you have to say on this? Can computers be really blamed?

Hi sugarbabe, welcome to myLot. That is true. In today's generation, most people usually spend their time so much in the computer, regardless if it is part of their job. However, if not, then we could consider that people became so addicted when it comes on surfing the internet. In this manner, they already forgot to do their own duties and responsibilities whether at home or in school. Otherwise, this may also contribute some disadvantages to one's life. Have a nice day and God speed!

Well, sometimes computers are really addictive. And it can often get you hooked that you can no longer do other necessary things. I think at some point it may also affect your relationships with your family, friends and colleagues. But I do not think that the computer must be blamed because the problem is really more on the discipline of the individual using the computer. If you can control yourself, then you wouldn't allow a computer to ruin your life. One must follow a schedule when to use a computer and at how much time do you spend browsing the internet, etc.

Since the computer is an inanimate object, it really cannot be blamed at all. While my honey is watching TV, I am at the computer, but he is right next to me, so we are together. Probably tension between couples starts somewhere else and then it is convenient to blame the computer. If one person is doing secret things online that would be a problem, but it would be the person who is at fault, not the machine.
