With hunting season upon us, I am curious to know if your state/province/etc. has hunters that violate endangered/threatened species laws. In eastern Washington State near the northern Idaho border, there is a severe problem with killing the threatened Northwestern White Tailed Deer. It's also common for "hunters" to trespass on private property to do a very dirty deed. When is enough too much?

I like to hunt and I believe that it is good to hunt. The deer population has to be thinned out or the deer will starve and get sick. Even though it was used for food way back when it is still used for food. If it were not for us hunters we would have overpopulation.
I disagree that any endangered animal should be killed and I know the DNR has strict punishments for this. I am very sorry to hear about the slaying of the endangerd white tal deer near you. Where I live (Illinois) we hunt the white tail but they are not endangered here.

My personal hunting season starts when I broke up with my actual girlfriend =) Ok so without joking I think the hunting was an action at the past for people to get food. It's now a sport and I think every hunter can find a better sport or hobby than kill animals. OK I got it so somebody needs to shoot, but buy a computer, buy a simple killer game and it can be the same.
