Would you adopt a foreign child like Angelina?

It's become a craze, adopting children from far off countries. Everyone's doing it - Madonna and Angelina just being two examples. What is the deal with this?Why do they feel the need to adopt these children when there are so many children in their own country that could really do with the stability of a loving home.
Now, I won't deny, the kids these celeb's are adopting are absolutely adorable, but is it fair to take them away from their culture?
Admittedly, the family they are being brought into gives them the financial fredom to be able to dwell in whatever country they wish, and explore as many cultures as they like, but wouldn't it be better just to "sponsor" them? They are very young but it must be terrible frightening being taken away from everything they know like that?
I do have a lot of respect for these celebs for providing homes and loving environments for these poor orphaned kids, but I understand the whole "rainbow" family that Angelina describes that she wants.
Anyone else have any opinions on this?

Yes, I would adopt a child from a foreign country providing I had all the facts such as complete history, health information and the names of both parents as a precaution for later on in life. Many children want to search and when that child is of age, I think it's healthy.
I would prefer to get a child from my country but if that wasn't possible, for whatever reason, I would certainly search in foreign lands.

Hi. I would definitely want to adopt if I don't have a child. But I would like him/her to be my own nationality. This is just to avoid my child being questioned about his/her origin. It may not be good enough to hear/know that he/she is adopted. Stressing this point by others would be adding more pain to the child

Adopting kids have some risks but If it is the only way to have kids we can adopt. Risks I am talking about are the kids family tree . Is there any health problem if kid s family had. Like mental or cancer. And it can be a problem in the future, for the family which would be very hard and sad situation to deal with.
