How long did it take for your chicken pox scars to heal?

I had chicken pox about 4 months ago which was bad. The pox sort of paraded around me that resulted many scars on my body and a few on my face. Throughout recovering stage I noticed some scars faded pretty fast but some dark spots and a few of those scar holes are still on my face.
Does anyone here do not have any scars after developemnt of chicken pox (which I denote as the lucky one). For those have been left with scars, how long did it take before the scars totally fade away?

I had them when I was very young... I think I was about 2, 3 or 4 years old?
Anyway, I think that make them heal quicker... My skin was younger and grows back quicker, right?
I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure they wen't away in under a year~
Maybe it was under a month, I can't remember having them for long!

I guess kids have a better recovery percentage. My niece had it soon after I recovered from chicken pox and now she has no more marks or spots on her body nor face.

usually there wont be any scars after chi.pox though it takes sometime depending upon the size.But if you have pinched or scratched tried to remove the boils, the scar will be there like a big pimple mark.If the person gets older or thinner the scar can be clearly seen.
One should not scratc with nails but can use neem leaves.we can give Pottasium permongate treatment. we can apply raktha chandan paste.The dark patch will soon fade.

Well, the most remarkable scar I had was through a thorough facial wash. As none of my family members nor freinds around me infected by chicken pox, I didn't realized that was a pox, it just looks like normal pimple (no liquid in it). The moment I realized was too late where another pox pop on the same spot. Thanks for the advise on the remedies.

hello cutieweii!I had chicken pox when I was 15.It took me quite a while for the scars to heal.Maybe about two or three years to heal completely.

Alright, that doesn't sounds too long. So long as it become not too obvious, I'm happy with it.
