Hi Subha. You havent mentioned what kind of experience it was. Whether it was entry level or middle level etc. But just considering that its entry level and 3 years ecperience. you can get from 5 to 8 Lakhs per annum. If you have any other queries you can write back.

I am working as a Customer Care Specialist serving clients from western countries. I am receiving a large amount of salary, almost thrice the amount of our city's minimum wage. The job involves multi-tasking which demands competent technical knowledge, above-average communication skills, and excellent customer service skills.

I'm sorry because I was able to enter the wrong response. I was about to post a response to another discussion related to this, I feel so ashamed for being so careless. I'm really so sorry. I swear, it is really an honest mistake.

Well it depends a lot on the qualification and abilities of that person , talking about the average salary which a moderate IT personal should get after 3 years experience is somewhere between 4-5 lakhs per annum . This I am saying on seeing the basic trend of my seniors in my college , they starte with a package of 2.5 to 3 lakhs and now after doing 3 years or 4 years of work they are earning somewhere between 4-6 lakhs. I am studying in a renowned engineering college (NIT). best wishes from my side for your job application and hope that you get the most deserving salary..:)

I would say from your short description, your starting pay should be somewhere from 20,000-45,000$ a year. at least in the states, as for India I wouldn't have a clue as i've never been up there. The more you've worked in your related field or just in general, the higher the pay will be. I would say the most likely assumption is probably about 16$-20$ an hour, which would be about 30-38$grand a year(before any kind of taxes.. I dont know what kind of taxes they have in india though.. and this is more of a states kind of idea, then an out of the states kind of thing..)? I dont know. this is just an idea though, i'm probably way off!
