The Harley Biker weekend is finally over!

We have a Harley Davidson and Hot rod weekend here in Palm Springs the first weekend of each October. It marks the beginning of what is known around here as the season. The weather was gorgeous the girls and the bikes that came out to celebrate were gorgeous. The biker guys, well they were just biker guys (nothing special) The bikes have been snarling up and down our streets for the last four days. And the local cops have been out and about en force the entire weekend. They are neccessary to show that there is a police "presence" but I think that the flk jackets and bulletproof vests were just a little bitty bit of overkill. It was like they just wanted to go ahead and pull all the major stuff out of the closet and play with it or something! I went downtown Saturday night and got some really great photos for a content article that I am going to write about the event for both Associated content and another seperate article that I am going to write for Helium. Anyway the event was nicer and calmer than any other event that the town has ever held and I for one am glad to see it go for another year.
