Ex husbands

Ok now when a couple divorces its supposed to be over but why do so many men hang on to the ex wife? Not a experince from my end but a dear friend the ex calls and says I love you and want to make it work but he is sleeping wiht others and dating and telling them the same thing. im just wondering why do that to someone you once loved and do that to the children that came from that love? werid I know but hey thought it would get people talking would like to hear from men on this too if possible.

...My ex told me we could still be best friends. LMAO! Best friends would not be getting divorced. He had no clue what he was saying or what is yet to come.
