What do you like most, Waffles or Pancakes?

Hi Claire03, I like both waffles and pancakes. But if I have to choose between them, I prefer pancakes. I usually eat them for breakfast with butter and honey or syrup. So yummy...

I have never eaten any of the two, and therefore don't know much abt them.. But from the picture, they look really yummy, maybe will try out some day.. Are they ready made, or they need to be made at home??

I would take waffles over pancakes any day. I don't dislike the pancake at all I just prefer the waffle. I like the way the butter and syrup puddle up in the little craters of love. Double that love for how I feel about the mighty French toast! Has to be real maple syrup too!

Pancakes is my favorite? Hmm you really made me hungry I'm off to the fridge now.

Hi Claire, I like them both, I would prefer a waffel vs a pancake if there was a choice. I also like French Toast. Mmmm I have been craving that lately and I actually fixed it for dinner the other night! Bay xx

I dont like pancakes or waffles. They taste dry no matter how much syrup you use.

I like pancakes. I'll eat waffles because I like them too but if I had to choose just one it would be pancakes. I wanted pancakes so bad this weekend so hubby went to McDonald's to get me some but they said they were out and it was too close to lunchtime for them to make anymore I guess. So I didn't get them. I could have went to IHOP since they serve them all day but hubby just got me a biscuit with egg and bacon instead from McDonald's. I was really wanting those pancakes though so the biscuit didn't hit the spot.

In England we don't seem to have waffle houses and most of us only really eat pancakes once a year on pancake day. I guess that must seem strange when other countries seem to eat them all the time. When we do have pancakes I like them with syrup and ice cream.

oOo! This is a tough one! I do like both, pancakes are good with that sweet milk stuff, not sure what it's called lol. You know what I'm talking about, it's kind of like...frosting...sweetened milk...whatever! LOL. Anyways, back to the disucussion ;P I would also have to choose waffles though. I do not like them crispy, but I do like a nice soft, warm waffle with a little bit of syrup and melted butter! yummy yummy! :)

I love both waffles and pancakes. I think I like pancakes more though. My favorite are cinnamon pancakes from Bob Evans. They are really fantastic.

I like waffles because they trap the syrup better. Those nice little spaces between the squares are so good for that. Pancakes are good for having blueberries in them and such so I like them, too, but waffles, if you put ice cream on top or pie filling, it traps that better, too. My favorite waffles are mulit-grain with blueberry pie filling and a scoup of French Vanilla or Vanilla Bean Ice Cream on top. Everything goes better with ice cream.

You know I've often thought I was weird because the batter for waffles and pancakes are the same But I like waffles. I guess it's because I like crispy rather than soft and chewy.

Waffles rocks:F But I mostly eat them on my summer vacations:P They're squared and I love to have them with whipped-cream and fruits, like cherries*yummy*

I will go for pancakes because in Pancake House, one of the best resto here in our place, I've tasted different pancakes already. And it's worth it's price. I like the fillings and toppings they have. There are really a lot of varieties. I also like waffles, but it is not as fulfilling as pancakes.

i love both, but find pancakes easier to make. In my country you dont find a lot of places making these kinds of foods.... its really sad cause these meals are full of taste and goodness

I like waffles better, because I prefer the texture of them. We are pinching pennies, so we make waffles or pancakes at home.

Well i love both but if i have to pick one then it will be pancakes yummy honestly it depends on my mood im about to dtarve right now so really both sound very good :) I love to put butter and grape jelly on a waffle (im weird) I just like butter on my pancakes and i will dip it in a like syurp but i dont like much

I love pancakes. I love the taste of them with butter and syrup. I also have to have an egg with them. Call me weird, I know, but I cannot eat a pancake without an egg. I do not like syrup on my waffles. I am a 'grab and go' with waffles, with just a little butter on them.
