My name is Shirley Caron, I'm 59 years old and I live on the South side of Indianapolis, Indiana with my Loving Husband, Mike. I am a Renowned Poet and was inducted into The International Poetry Hall of Fame in 1992, I'm a Singer/Songwriter and have written over 100 Poems and Several Songs, I'm Vice President of M & S Public Relations(Talent Promoter), Chairperson of my two Non Profit Organizations, "Save Our Children" and "Shirley's Epilepsy Awareness Program." I have recently been honored with the Title of "Poetry Ambassador of 2007" and I have a beautiful Certificate along with a Poetry Ambassador of 2007 Gold Medal of Excellence. My Husband, Mike and I were honored to have been chosen to be Judges in The Miss Teen Indianapolis Pageant because of our Business and Accomplishments in our Life! I have had a Record Contract for six years and my Producer is Mr. Cliff Ayres, who made the Song, "My Blue Heaven" a big hit! I love doing Presentations and Reciting my Poetry for People that have special Events and I do my Presntations at Churches, Hospitals and Nursing Homes. I charge a Fee of $50 for doing my Presentations which goes towards raising Funds for my two Non Profit Organizations. I will be looking forward to hearing from you on this! I am quite a busy Lady, even though I have two Steel Rods in my Spine, Degeneration of my Spine, Osteoarthritis, I almost lost my Right Leg when it was crushed by the Car that struck me in 1985(my Leg was broken in six places under the Knee!) I have Suffered with Epilepsy since I was 14 years old and I have Fundraising Events two to three times a year to raise Funds for The National Epilepsy Foundation to help them find a possible Cure for this Dreadful Disease that Kills Millions of Americans, Young and Old, every year! I do not let my Disabilities keep me from achieving my Goals in Life! I have a lot of strong Faith in God, and He is my Rock, Strength and Determination to make it through every day of my Life! It is essential to believe in the good Lord above and also believe in yourself and always strive ahead to reach your Goal in Life, and "Your Dreams Can Come True!" Shirley Caron
