Broiling Fish

I broiled two tilapia filets last night with butter and lemon-pepper. I put it onto a plate with some left-over rice and brought it to work with me today. They were both very good, but the new bottle of lemon pepper seasoning seems very strong compared to the last that I bought. It was a new brand, that I bought because it was on sale. I've never used this kind before. The fish was good, just a bit more spice than I normally like. The rice toned it down some, but not a whole lot. Does anyone know if there is a way that I could have toned down the taste, once it is cooked?

I don't know of any way of getting rid of the spicy taste once fish is cooked. Maybe if you cooked it a different way it might have changed it. I have never fixed tilapia filets. I have a friend at work that eats it alot though. She broils it too. Is there a different way to cook it? Could you grill it?

Yes, I've had it grilled before. sometimes, my husband will wrap it in aluminum foil and put it on the grill. it is too flaky to just put right on the iron, it will fall apart once it begins to cook! But, if you have an inside grill, it is certainly delicious that way
