Do you employ a chiropractor's services? Some people swear by them, crediting them for their pain relief and almost there very ability to function on a daily basis. Others consider them quake who are stealing your money and possible seriously damaging your body in the proccess, Medical doctors seem to be split on the issue. Every chiropractor I've spoken too really believes they are doing very healing work on their paitence. Almost to a religious degree. What are your thoughts? Force

Hello Force_Fed, Chiropractice has a very real service in healing. The nervous system traveling up and down our spine is attached to all parts of our body. When those nerves get pinched at some point, the effect on our body is enormous. I am not a medical person, but I have used the services of a chiropractor off an on my whole life. When I was a boy of 12, my folks took me to a chiropractor who relieved the nerves that told me when to wake up at night so I wouldn't wet the bed. From then on through my life I have gone to the chiropractor for relief of back pains, headaches, etc. If Chrirpractice was a quack, why would health insurance recognize them as health caretakers and pay claims for their services. Thanks for steppingup Mr. Fullmer. I've been to a few over the years. Some have helped, some haven't. My most recent one told me once their were something like 50 or so different disciplines(?) of the practice. I think finding the right one for you is the important thing. Otherwise you will have a negative experience. Force

I've never been to a chiropractor, but I've always wanted to go. My sister dances competitively and it messes with her backk, and she loves her chiropractor. I'm a little wary, though, because you always hear of those stories where someone's neck gets broken accidentally. I think that, when I can, I will check it out though. Good topic!

I would suggest you do check it out. I have gone to the chiropractor for years now and he has helped me when no one else could. As well as my children! If your sister likes her chiro then start with hers but you may need to go somewhere else because they just are not cutting it for you. Chiropractors work differently and some will work for you and some won't you will need to find what works and what doesn't then find a chiropractor that will do what works whether it is the same as your sister or not.
