Dancing in your house

Yes, I am guilty of dancing in the house when nobody is home and I hear a great song. Most often it's to Elvis so now you know I am a baby boomer! When in high school, I'd come home and dance with the doorknob when learning a new step. It was the "in" thing to do way back in the fossil years!

Yes, I admit it, I dance on occasion. If a commercial with a catchy tune comes on, I'll get up and do a shimmy to entertain my dogs. I would hate for them to get bored. LOL

i DON'T DANCE TO THE MUSIC AS i HAVE NO DANCING RYTHM. bUT NOW i DO SING. wELL i ATTEMPT TO SING ALONG. hahaha

yes, yes, yes its agood exercise, i am a singer and i usually practise the moves and songs we use during performances.

yup, you bet! i am just as guilty as the next person when it comes to that...but do i care? NO! life is way too short not to have some fun!!

Hello Terry, yes i do dance when i'm alone at home and hear a fast-track. Even when everybody's at home, i feel like dancing, but i will refrain, because they might laugh seeing my dancing abilities:p You know cat psychology!!? - you seem to be sure about your cats loving your dance - it might even be that they go runnning being disturbed or disgusted by your dance...just kidding...LOL Happy postings.

When I am listening to my favorite music station there are times when a song plays that moves me to dance. I swivel these hips like I was 17 again, but with more bounce! Dancing is great exercise. We should dance as if nobody is watching.

I haven't cats running around me,just 3 turtles and I can say they know dancing or run,but yes I love dancing at home when I'm alone.I like listen radio while doing work at home so many time between cleaning (something I don't enjoy very much)I start dance (something I love doing) lol:

If I am alone, and if I like the song or music, I will often dance to it. But I do not dance around the house. I usually stay in the living room, in front of the Tv, watching the show and listening to the music, particularly if I am not interested in what is going on, but the song is out of this world. It just moves me. I also think it is a good way to exercise and have fun without doing all those bends and twists, step backs, etc. and the music is so inspiring. I sometimes do it when we had company. I was holding my granddaughter and there was a tune on the Tv, and I was dancing around, and did not have to worry about people staring because I was rocking the baby.

Heheh..do you put you tap dancing shoes on???? LOL With me it's not so much dancing around the house but signing--and all my cats do is look at me as if to say, "oh, no! Cover your ears..she's signing again!" LOL

I've been dancing in the house since I was 4 years old! I started out with Danny Kaye and classical music, then graduated to the Motown sound. Anything with a great beat gets me going. I'm 51 and I doubt that I'll be changing this habit for a long time coming! My favorite dance numbers are with Sting and Elton John. My 2 cats stare at me like I'm nuts. I'm crazy about music, that's for sure!

Haha yes, I definitely dance around the house when I'm home alone. It's fun and I figure it gives me some good exercise too! lol Of course, I'm horrible at it, so I definitely can't do it when there are many people around. hehe

It's quite interesting to see that soooo many people here dance in their homes and most when no one is watching...We are our own best critic aren't we?!? I too am guilty of this only most of the time I end up dancing with my four year old son...and yes I initiate it! LOL I have even found my self dancing to the songs within his cartoons! (Now that's embarassing!!) LOL I guess I am one big kid...Perhaps we never grow up! :) My son sure loves it when I get silly like that! LOL

Hi TerryZ! Oh yes I do dance all the time when i am alone in the house and I really worked out a sweat because I usually listen to upbeat music. However, when my husband finds me dancing he readily joins and that makes it more fun..and so does my whole family. I guess we just love to dance even we look funny most of the time. LOL! I guess we all do. I tease my boyfriend hes older than me the generation before me and I accuse him of putting on Henry Mancini and dancing nekkid to it when I'm not home. Lol

I totally dance around the house when a good song comes on. The dogs are like your cats, they think I'm weird and they run off because they know if they hang out they may be dancing too. I think everyone dances when they're alone.
