How to make people quit smoking?

I had seen all the unusual ways of making people quit smoke, all those rehab nicotine gum etc etc i think its all a part of making business. According to me everysmoker must be taxed heavily secluded from places and society too. Thats because then they realize what they doing is really bad for themselves as well as others. Or they should come out with a natural smoking agent which gives them same pleasure but no tobacco , but i guess every human would use it then .lol
