Why did you pick your picture, avatar, icon?

I've been a member for a couple days now and I just got to say I like everyones Icons. They are so cute and so are the pictures. I picked my picture becuse it describes me. And its a good picture of me I think. What about you? Why did you pick yours? I think they describe our personalities great!

my dad is half japanese half american and i grow up seeing a lot of japanese dolls in our house.

i put this avatar together on yahoo and like it for 2 reasons I'm a leo hence the lion and like listening to music hence the boom-box

i choose the picture of a single starfish for my avatar because this picture reminds me of my talent in photography! lol! i took this in one of my fieldworks and i really find it interesting. eventhough its a simple starfish in a not so white sand, still it's something. like me, i'm maybe 1 person but i have something to play in our community... :-)
