When a telephone rings.. do you answer it??

It all depends on whos calling. I hate picking up the phone because I dont like talking to strangers. That is why I wait for the answeing machine and if its someone I know like my friend then I will pick it up. But like I said I dont like talking to strangers because you dont know who it may be like one of those people who sell stuff which can be very annoying.

this deponds on situation. if this phone only belongs to me, then someone called must try to talk to me, so i will answer it immediately. however, if i am in the company, and this phone is for public use, then i will hesitate. of course, if there is no one else who can answer the phone, i will answer, but in most cases, i will not answet it.

when it is the house phone, i answer it. but not always. sometimes i am too lazy to get up from what i am doing, especially when i am eating. lol if it's the cellphone, i almost always answer it. :-)

when no one wants to answer it then might as well get rid of the phone. but i would suggest to get a wireless one so you wont have to stand up everytime the phone rings

If it's my phone of course I will answer it. If someone else's phone is ringing I won't answer their phone unless they are busy and they tell me to answer the phone.I would never answer my boyfriends phone. If he's on the other room and can't hear it I will tell him his phone is ringing or bring it to him. He does the same with me.

it depends on situation. if i m busy with some work then obviously i will not prefer being the first to answer the phone. on the other hand if i m alone or others are busy then i will answer. Also CLI has make this job easier; u may ignore the person by perceiving the person calling and ask others to answer if u don't want to talk due to some reason.

well, in my opinion,this depends on the situation, if i am at home,do not have important things to do, then i will answer the phone immediately,but if i am in the office,and then there is something really important to do,for instance,my boss need me to write a report ASAP,then i do not have time to answer it, then my colleaguer will help me to answer it
