Many different kinds of fruits are very beneficial to us specially to our health. The following fruits contributes to the healing of some ailments such as urinary tract infections, gout, colds, diarrhea, high blood cholesterol, constipation, gastritis, gallstone and more. These maybe in form of fruit or juice/puree. These are apple, pineapple, citrus which includes calamansi, dalandan, pomelo, sunkist and oranges, grapes, banana, berries (strawberry, blueberry & other berries).

I have never heard of calamansi or dalandan or pomelo. Can you tell me a little more about these fruits? What illnesses do they help?

Calamansi is very common here in the Philippines. It is a very strong juice so you have to add water and sugar or honey. It's very high in vitamin C and very good to take if you have flu or the common coughs and colds. In fact, there are already ready-to-mix calamansi juice fruit concentrate available in the market which I like compared to powdered juice because it is not processed and maintains its natural taste. Very convenient for busy people like me!
