n80 video resolution

anybody here with n80? i'm just curious about its resolution. i noticed that when i take pictures with my n80, it clearly shows its 3Mp resolution. but when taking vids, it hardly beats its vga front cam. video resolution sucks, big time! but when i take pics and vids with my n95, i don't have any problems (except for the slow image capturing for pics). video is very pleasing, and can probably be dvd-like. is having carl zeiss making the big difference? could it be the processor?
