I have this friend who have been diagnosed to have an IRON-DEFICIENCY ANEMIA. She is so upset that she doesnt know what to do. Its his first time to have this serious body ill (which i thought not really that serious). She was advised to take IRON and ViT C for a month and was advised not to drink alcohol. NOTE: She is an alcoholic. Is there anyway you can suggest of any means that she can get away from drinking. I wonder if she'll get healed is she continue to take alcohols while taking the medicines. Anyone?

This can be solved easily, eat more food with iron in it. My mother and grandmother both has the same problems with anemia. Solution, just eat anything and everything that has a lot of iron in it. I have never had this problem because I have always eaten a lot of foods with a lot of iron in them.

Many people have IRON-DEFICIENCY ANEMEA. Tell her it's not a big deal. I have anemea too. My doctor told me I didn't get enough IRON from my diet. It is unnecessary for her to be so upset. You should advice her to think about this drink problem seriously. If she does care about her own health, why she keeps drinking while taking the medicines? She has to make up her mind to dry out.
