How can I increase my faith in God when I don't see Him ?

Sometimes it's really hard to really focus on believing Deity because you don't see Him. I wonder if ancient prophets in the olden times saw Him while speaking to Him.

I have to say no they didn't see him. I am an Atheist though so I am thinking it isn't the answer you were looking for. I see no reason to live in fear of a diety that doesn't exist.

I don't live in fear, but respect and love for G♥d. It is a relationship, like would you say that the wife who loves her husband is with him because of fear?

I understand you whywiki you're an atheist. It's so hard for you to believe something that was not taught . I think that the ancient prophets really saw God. It's just that you know, we're living in present times and things are no longer the way they were before. I wish we can also see God today. But you know whywiki no matter I try not to believe, just look around me and i can't help but say to myself that Someone must have created this.

Oh yes they did see Him. Moses saw His back, Ezekiel saw Him in a vision as well as John did in Revelations. And Steven saw Him sitting next to Y'shua and this is just a few I can think of. Remember, conrada1923, in the OT, it says that to fully see Him, because of our sin, we would perish. We can't look upon His face, because He is so holy. But He does let you know he is there, you just have to be still and know..:)
