My Simba is missing

Oh sweetie, *hugs* I hope Simba comes home again soon. I know my Moomin often goes roaming for a day or so, but he always comes home again. I will think of you.

I'm so sorry I know how ya feel one of the kittens that we brough back from Texas came up missing and yes miss mya is still crying about her every day she comes here she asks if Bella came home today

I'm sorry to hear that your cat is missing. Was he fixed? Most the time male cats that aren't fixed will roam away from there home in search of well you get the point. I'm sure he will find his way back home to where he can be kept safe. In any case I will be keeping Simba in my prayers until he comes home safely. *hugs*

I hope Simba returns home soon so you will not be sad or worrying. When our cat was missing, the kids put out flyers and talked to lots of the neighbors. We did find our cat........living with the neighbors pigs. Oh what a mess. And stink....there was a lot of shampooing to be done to make the cat presentable again. I hope you are as lucky and find Simba hanging out with some friends.

Oh gabs, I am praying that you will soon have good news regarding the whereabouts of your beloved Simba. I know how much we can grow to love our pets and we do worry when they go missing. Hopefully he will stroll home after being on the prowl for a week. Please keep us informed. Hugs.

Oh gosh gabs! I'm so sorry! I will definetely keep you and Simba in my prayers! I was told one time to take some dirty clothes and lay them around the neighborhood so the cat can smell them and may even lay on them as a comfort from the smell of his owners so I thought I'd pass that along to you in hopes it'll work. Don't stop looking for him though because I'm sure he's very lost and is trying to find his way home. Also, please keep my mom in your prayers as well because her cat went missing on August 6th and still hasn't been found. We've put flyers up and went door to door and passed out flyers too to no avail. We're not giving up yet but she's grieving so hard. Bless yours and Simba's heart!

Oh Gabs I hope he turns up safe and sound soon. I've had cats go missing before and it's so worrying. You know there's every chance he's getting fussed over and fed by someone and that's why he's not gone back home yet. I love cats but they can be thoughtless little so and so's sometimes! The idea that their owner is frantic with worry never enters their heads! I'll keep him in my thoughts and let me know as soon as you hear anything. xx

For some of us our pets are like our children. I have had some go away and never come back again, no hide nor hair, no sign of them, and others have left and then returned like a boomerang kitty. I hope this is the case for you.

I know for SImba to be gone that long is unreal as he waqs always by your side. DO you think he might have treid to follow you or maybe he went girling! and found more girls than he bargined for and it is taking him longer to cat around! lololl A little lite side there. I sure do hope the kids find him well and safe as breautiful as he is someone might have decided to keep him. good luck and blessings

Oh my sweet Gabs - you know how much I understand your pain and tears right now. Cats are my babies - and I truly feel for you. I'm not going to say please don't worry because I know you will - but - you know - there is light at the end of the tunnel. You know I have Clarence - the stray cat I took in a few months ago, who is still very VERY wild? Well a few weeks ago he went missing. I broke my heart, but I also knew that he is a wanderer, and had not totally adopted my house as "home" yet, - so I thoght maybe he had decided to leave and have some more adventures again. He is not a cat who you will ever "tame" completely. Anyway - on Sunday afternoon, I was sitting here on my own on myLot, (my man was down at the gym), and I heard the cat flap. I assumed it was just Sasha or one of the others, but when I looked round - who was there but Clarence:-)) He was very hungry and very dishevelled, but he had come home to me. He hasn't left the house since!!! So maybe Simba will do the same. Cats are very resilient and strong - remember what Lily went through and survived? I assume your daughter has contacted the local Vets and Rescue Centres in case anyone has handed a cat in? And I assume also asked the neighbours to check their sheds, garages and outhouses in case he has got locked in? Anyway - please try not to crymy love, because all those sobs can't be good for your poor chest. You know I am not a praying person, but I will send all my positive thoughts, love, and hugs to you and Simba, from me and my cat family. Oh Gabs, if I was there I would be combing the country side looking for Simba. I know what you are dealing with I lost one of my cats one time and I though that I would never find her but thank goodness she had tags on and two days later a lady called and said that she had my cat. I will pray that you all find Simba and that she comes home safe and sound. Hugs!!

awee sweetheart , I hope they find him soon , I am sure they will , By what I hear about cats the have a built in homing signal , let me know when they find him pleasse , we lost our dog once ( years ago) we found him but I know exactly what you are going through , he will be found too I am sure xxx

I have a very good feeling about this. I would amost bet Simba was just put out that you came for a visit and left again. Don't be surprized if the cat returns. Good luck and please do keep us up to date. Take care.

I am sorry to hear your Simba is missing. I have seen so many people lose their animals. They all call the PD in case someone calls us to report finding them. I often wonder if they get found. Once I actually found a missing dog at my house..lol. At least I knew where he belonged. I know it's hard, but don't give up hope, sometimes hope is all we have !! ((( hugs )))

Oh gabs, I'm so sorry about this..your Simba looks like one of my former kitties, Taffy....yes you better believe that my prayers are for Simba's safe return home and I hope you keep us up-dated!!

Cats often get into places - ours turned up missing a few days ago, and we found him inside our pop-up camper! We store our extension cords inside it when it's not in use. My hubby opened the door, put the cords back in, and shut the door. NEVER SAW THE CAT GO IN!! Fortunately, that was the first place I thought of when he didn't come in at night. Have your family check around the house - storage building, basement, attic, cars and campers and such... and have the neighbors for about six blocks do the same, even if they think it's impossible because they watched every second! Also, put up signs and check the shelters.
