Getting paid to blog--would you do it?

It's another method to add more money into your bank account--getting paid to blog. It's not a wonder why anyone wouldn't refuse to make this as an alternative for an income generating project--it's fun, it's easy, and it pays. Still, wouldn't blogging for advertisers somewhat affect your credibility? Wouldn't your readership base think that, in a way, your selling out and drastically reduce your readers?
