Making 1$ a day in Mylot is like a DREAM...!!!

When I started with myLot, it has already been impossible to make $1 in a day. The highest I got is $0.29...so I'm already used to this situation. Anyway, I'm making progress since in 3 months, I'm already close to $5. I'm already happy posting, I'm not after the money anymore. LOL!

Dear Stella, if u r here to make money then u r right, the max i earn is about US$0.35. but i dont care as i am not here for money, i am enjoying company of nice persons and good friends like u, if u see my profile u will notice i am not starting any discussions since long, rather i am participating in friends discussion only. if i would be here to earn $s then i might have left one month ago, but here i am for friends and wait for them and their posting, thats what i like here and make me stay here, take care zahid

I'm active all day, I post everytime I log in here. Though I still don't earn that elusive one dollar here, I am always thankful that I earn more than the money. I don't start as much discussions everyday, I'm lucky enough to start one for the whole week. Maybe that's the reason why I don't receive a dollar here, but I don't expect it because I am already thankful to all those I've met and learned alot from each and every post I come across with..

Well.. I always believe in Quality posting rather than quantity... I always post less.. But even then i manage to earn a good stuff.. I have even earned 8 to 9 cents for a single post.. that's coz of the quality postings.. I hate nonsense postings just like you... And moreover me not very active on mylot these days as i don't get time.. So generally i prefer to post on weekends only.. But still i'm amazed to know that people manage to earn $1 per day!!!! That's really incredible... I guess its possible coz they might be having lots of active referals under them.. And stella, i also get tired a lot if i continuously sit for 2 hours... I also need a break.. If i don't take a break, i do suffer from headache.. lolllzzzz. :-) So i guess earning $1 per day is not my cup of tea unless i have a few active referals under me..

That's right , I knew MyLOT by my work mate , he was showing me his earning each day long ago , he was happy one he did earn a $1.38 in one day , but asking him these days about MyLOT is driving him crazy! He stopped from here and he has an explanation that I don't know where did he get it from , but anyway , if you have more free time at home and you have nothing to do why not blogging , and if you're blogging for nothing why not blogging for something , this is how do I see this .

I will be lucky if I make a dollar a week. I heard mylot is giving less now. I can post alot and only recieve a few cents. I feel the same way.

the most I have ever made here was like 83 cents. I did make 60 cents the other day. but then somedays it seams that what I make is not right for what I do, I did 40 posts last night and only made 12 cents and that was not right I dont think. but it dont matter it is more about friends then the money here

You are right, I also concentrate for long and at the most I make $0.30 or $0.35 in a day. It becomes difficult to continuously answer all the discussions and longer you sit on computer, I find, quality of replies get deminished. I do bother about earnings too much, I just enjoy my participation here. Have a nice day!

I have to admit that hearing you can make money was what brought me here to mylot. But once I got here and started making friends, being able to help others, and recieving great advice; I would have to say the money is not what brings me back everyday. This is a great online community and I enjoy it everyday. I do have to say that it is possible to make $1.00 in one day. I have done it a few times with only posting 40 to 50 responses a day. It seems hard but it is not as hard as one might think. There are a few things that you need to keep in mind when posting. 1. quality, not quantity! We earn based on the quality of our posts and not the quantity of posts we do. Example: Take two people (lets call them person A and person B). Person A posts 100 responses a day with only 2 to 3 lines per post. They end up earning $1.00. Person B only posts around 40 to 50 responses with 5 or more lines. They end up earning a $1.00 as well. So both people end up making a $1.00 but neither posted the same amount. The reason for this is because person B posted more quality responses than person A did. Thus, they recieved better earnings per post. It's that simple. 2. Be selective when responding. When you look for discussions to respond to, choose ones that you can relate to. Doing this makes it easier to respond with a quality response of 5 or more lines. 3. Cut off time. Last thing to remember is that there is a cut off time for your responses. Anything you post after that time will not be counted until the day after. I am not sure where you live but for me it is somewhere around midnight. I live in Florida. So from there it should be easy for you to figure out what your cut off time is. For example if you live in California, you would be three hours behind me. So your cut off time would be around 9 pm. So anything posted after that would not show up when your earnings are updated the next day. They would show up the day after that. Well I hope I have been able to help you out some in achieving that $1.00 mark in one day. Good luck and god bless!

I have made it a goal to earn a dollar in one day here in mylot but so far that goal still remains a goal and it seems I am nowhere near it. Sometime these past few months, I lost interest in mylot because it seems like I am not earning that much and that I do not seem to see interesting discussions to join in. It's only now that I am slowly reviving my interest in mylot and so far, that one dollar is, as you say, a DREAM for me:P

No...it is not an impossible dream from my experience. I have made a dollar a day on Sa number of occasions. However, I am never quite sure what I did to earn it Sometimes I have spent time and commented to a lot of discussions and made a dollor or more. Other times I have commented to responses and my site and made a dollar. sometimes I had added images and noticed my earnings go up...other times not so much. However, my earnings are consistent and on average my payout is within the fifteen to twenty dollar range every month. The system I use works for me and this is what I do. When I post a discussion it is always on the lengthy side and I pose questions about what I am interested in hearing answers too. Then when members comment I have a rule that I always 'respond to every response' before going anywhere else. Friends who come to my site always comment that they value that and we often have rather lengthy chats about things and I have noticed that seems to add to earnings. I always rate, rate, rate and make sure to assign best responses on a regular basis and go back and thank those who give them to me. Tagging is important and I add quite a few with every response...and that is what has been working for me to give me yes....the seeming impossibility of making a dollar a day. I think many do not earn that because of the number of short one line comments that many members make. If they read Mylot guidelines they would see they require at least 400 words. Without that there may not be earnings and if they are they will be a penny or less instead of what some make in 3 pennies. It adds up...and make better discussions to boot..and after all that is the focus of the site...discussions and answers! So good luck with it... Raia

when I joined mylot , I heard many people saying they made $30-$40 a month , so I too began dreaming of making $1 a day but that dream didn't seem to fulfill as I made only 33 cents as highest, but now I love the people out here their support and friendly nature, now I don't care of the money anymore, I love posting here.;)

I dunno if my computation is correct, but I guess, we need to posts atleast 100 replies in order to get a $1 pay. Actually I haven't reach that pay yet in a single day. 0.97 is my highest so far and I an close to 100 posts then. I wish I could overpass it. I will be glad if I am already making atleast $1 a day pay. It will sum up to $30 in a month. Not bad for a newbie like me.

I used to make at least that a day when I first started and now the payments have dwindled away to almost nothing..Its a bit off putting because I know what I used to make and they have changed that..

The highest that i made here in mylot is .33 cents...i don't think i would ever get $1 in a day because i find it hard to find topics that would interest me in responding...and i also find it difficult to think of topics interesting enough to generate a lot of responses... Well hopefully that would change... but the most important thing here is that we are able to participate and earn and learn at the same time...

yes. it is the same for me. but i just do it as it is a diary. i want to earn more. but i can't wonder to earn 1 a day in mylot. if smoe one can do so. i think he is a supurman .
