I have just finished reading my new book. It is the last one by Matilde Asensi, a Spanish writer. In Italian it is entitled TUTTO SOTTO IL CIELO (Everything under the sky). It is wonderful and I strongly recommend you it. I found it Sunday in my favourite bookstore and I couldn't help but buying it and reading it until I reached the last page.
I even stopped reading the other one I had at the moment, Possession by Byatt and that I am starting again this evening. It was a sort of love affair!!! I fell in love with Matilde Asensi and I wanto to read something else from her as soon as possible. Have you ever read anything from her?

Hi maribea,
I haven't read anything of Matilde, have heard a lot about her though. Will try to get one of her English version.
Yes, it gets as irresistible as a love affair and I cannot but refrain from it until I finish it.
My last read was THE GOD DELUSION and cannot say how much engrossed I had been!

thank you for expressing so well what I tried to say in my poor English!!! I don't know anything about your book...I am having a look at it right now...and yes you will easily found an English version of Matilde's because she has become a name in her field!!!

SWEETIE,
It is a grave issue full indeed! The facts stated are really full of scientific evidences, pro Darwinism. The atheist or agnostics will love it no doubt.
Currently I am reading CRITICAL by Robin Cook - it's a medical thriller, very exciting and full of cruel realizations.

Oh my God!!! (please forgive me for the joke made with words!!) I have just seen what your book is about. It is a complex matter indeed and human beings have long speculated about the existence or not of God..so this is one of the basic questions we have in our life!

I've never read Matilde Asensi but from the title your new book sounds interesting. Oh reading a book - I long for the day, I can't remember the last book I read but know it was back in the spring - and I love to read, just been too busy with other things. I also tend to read a book from front to cover without stopping so not a good time for me to even pick one up right now :)

Oh dear I do know - all my life I've loved reading, even as a very young child. Often I think I used those books as an escape from the real world which I desperately needed at one time.
It is on my list of 'to-do's "Find time to read a book"

you got it. she is the famous writer of The last Cato, L'ultimo Catone in Italian. I am planning to read all her books now that I fell in love with her..just looked at ehr books as a pause between an English written book and another. Now I am again into Possession and it will take a lot before I finish it because it is long and not so easy and I have decided to sit for the Cambridge advanced exam...but as soon as possible I am reading The last Cato.
thanks for coming here and writing to me!!! have a nice day
