Exams are necessary for learning or not?

no choice, this is the best way to show how much you know. In fact, exam is not that effective in showing our level of knowledge but i have to cope with it. Exam is the only stress for the student to move forward to study. If not, student tend to procrastinate all the times. Finally the student can not see any results short run.

With me, yeah... I need learning a lot before i do exams. I don't want fail with my exams ^_^ so...i learn lots before exam.

Exams are necessary but it is not the ultimte measurement on whether or not the student learned something. There are some students that can do well in theory but are not that great when it comes to actual practise.

I think it is necessary just to measure up to what extent the students have learned from their lessons. But should not be the only basis for them to pass thier subjects or considered that they already learned the lessons. There should be other neausrements.

Exams help in making other bound to learn for some days at least. However, exams are bound to text books or syllabus, they dont test ur knowledge.
