How long do you take to read a book

I usually take 2 minutes to read 1 page.I read very fast and only read the important words and skip unnecessary words.You can say that I am not detail oriented

It all depends on the kind of novel I read. Sometimes it takes me as little as a few hours other times it takes days even weeks for me to finish a novel.

I have finished a 200 pg book in a day before. It just depends on how good the book is.

It really depends on how many pages the novel has, but if it interests me a lot, I think I can finish it in a day, and if it doens't, then it'll up to 2 or 3 days.

It really depends on how much time I have and how involved ni the book I get. There are some books I've read in a nigth or two and others that have taken me a week or more. I find lately that I don't have much time at all to read so it's been taking me about a week on average to finish most books. During the summer when I have more time, I can usually get through a book every couple of days or so.

I usually take about 3 -4 hours to read a novel. I've always read quickly - my mother and my aunts do as well.

compared to many i'm a slow reader... but now i've developed some speed with my reading, if the book is gripping i'll hardly take any time to finish it or else it might take days, weeks or even months! able to read quickly is a tallent i admire a lot and feel great about those people who can do the same!

I have a peculiar type or method of reading regardless of what material it would be. My method is, read the contents list and intro. The prime part that I will look into. Next will be the last page of the book. that is my indicator level to decide for continue reading or just leave it, and look for another one via ISBN CODE.

Being an avid reader since childhood; I can read thru a book quite quickly if it has "hooked" me. Some books take me days and even weeks to finish. However it is not how quickly you can read, but how much can you retain and comprehend?
