why can't people not be happy?

I think some rich people are never happy.A friend of the family are like this.They have no children and money coming out of their ears,no matter what they buy and how many trips they take,they are never happy.Money cant buy happiness.People are always wanting something and when they get it they are still not happy.Its the way we are made.There are some people that are poor and very happy because they never got to experience things in life that money can buy and the miserys with it.Im happy to some extent.I have a wonderful life,but i feel that im missing something when im actually not at all.Alot of people tell me im very lucky with my life,but i feel that im not when i really should feel lucky.Ive become spoiled.Thats the answer"spoiled by what money can buy".I was content with my life when i was young and not alot of money.Money leads to unhappiness and when you have alot,its even more unhappy.People but things when they are unhappy to help take the pain away,but it makes it even worse and does not help at all.:)
