Some people lose control when they get drunk!?

I don't drink too much that's why i don't get drunk, i just drink occassionaly. I've seen a lot of people loses control when they get drunk. they talk too much and swear, get into a fight or accident and some get wild or do things that they don't normally do. i don't seem to understand why a person will change behaviour or attitude once they're drunk. Drinking is ok but we should be know when to stop ourselves if we know we can't drink no more. My husband also drink but he don't he don't make any problems when he's drunk. he mellows down and just sleeps. One neighbor got into a fight because he was drunk that time and he don't know what he's doing anymore. Another guy we know found himself sleeping in the street in the morning with a lot of bruishes and scratches in his body which he can't even recall where he got those because he's so drunk. it's terrible! Why do you think some people are out of control when they get drunk? do you think it's the influence of alcohol or they are just like that? What i just know is that if you drink alcohol put it in your stomach not in your head that means be a responsible drinker.

I don't know if it is losing control or not! But whenever I have a drink everything makes me laugh. I am the silliest druk in the world. Just look in my direction and I find it funny, talk to me and I will laugh for a long time. Guess its better than being mean...

I do not drink more that 2-3 drinks because I am one of those that does lose control. and I never want that to happen to me It only happened once and I woke up at home and had no idea how I got there or what happened after 6PM and it was 4 AM. I was very fortunate that my co workers and friends looked after me, but I can't allow that to happen again as I might not be as lucky,There is an old saying one drink is to many and a thousand not enough for some people . I know my limit and stick to it for my own safety.

that is good robinj. i am the same way, i know what's my limit and i don't go beyond it cause i know it won't result to something good, if i get too drunk, like one time i've experienced being so drunk, i felt so sick when i got up in the morning and can't stop throwing up, so sick that i didn't go to work that day because i also had a terrible headache. i've learned from it and won't do it again.

I think when people drink they think they are all that and can be like super man, Do what he does you know... Sometimes people just don't know what they are doing either when they drink... I too am the kind of person who is extreamly mellow and i just want to sleep, I don't get all testy at people or anything like that.. I know a guy well my sister husband, who drinks all the time and not to mention gets into fights.. He's must been thrown out of the bars more than the fingers and toes on my body which is 20 ha ha.. But no really he drinks and he don't now when to stop and thinks he's the kind that can do anything and not worry about getting into trouble.. But soon enough he will find out he can't do that.. He's done things while being drink to my sister and has been put in jail he claims he's never done them... In time he will learn but I don't think any time soon!

One can really get in trouble if they drink too much and they will just find themselves out of control. i don't want to be in a situation like that so when i know that i already had enough to drink i stop. Some people just don't think about what will happen to them if they get drunk, they still even risk driving themselves home which can cause accident or they can hit somebody else who is innocent. We should enjoy drinking but not to the extent of getting ourselves in trouble or ruining somebody's life.

I am a happy drinker on the days that I drink, the more I drink the happier and funnyer I get. I dont drink as much as I use to years ago, but I still toss back a few with my frineds some weekends. But yea if you drink then drink responsible and dont drive.

i'm the same way hoghoney, when i drink i just try to happy and enjoy fun times with friends and i know when to stop. i have limits. yah, we shouldn't drive if we know we are drunk cause we can just get into accident or hit somebody else and that's not good at all.

I think it loosens them up. I don't really drink either and when someone gets drunk it's kinda annoying. I used to have a friend that when we went out she got stupid.....and I mean stupid and would crawl all over guys etc. I quit hanging out with her. It was kinda disgusting.

Hello there. I've been drunk once. Ever since then, I stopped drinking as I do not want to make a fool out of myself. That night, I was so drunk that I could not remember exactly what happened. I am thankful that I was with good company that day. My friends took good care of me and sent me home safely. =D
I was told by my friends that during the hours I was drunk, I was singing and blabbering all the time. My friends found me very hilarious. I am glad that I am a funny drunkard and not a violent one. I have a friend who gets violent and angry when he gets drunk. It's very scary to go drinking with him.

One time i get drunk too, i was with my cousins and family,(i don't usually drink too much when i'm not with trusted friends and family or when i'm in somebody's house) i remember that i can't just stop laughing, there was an occassion that time and we're playing a game, we pass on drinks to everyone. i get so drunk that time that i woke up with a bad headache and can't stop throwing up that morning. After that, i told myself i don't want to get drunk again cause it's not just worth it. i am not that use to drinking too much maybe that's why i also been throwing up that time. i don't like people who gets violent when they get drunk, that's not good.

That's right. Specially men, they love to pick on fights when they are too drunk. Also, never trust the words of a drunk person. My father promises a lot of things when he is drunk but totally forgets about it when he is sober.

hi claire03, my dearfeind, i dnt drink and neither my hubby drinks. but yes, our pops drinks but he never ever makes a scene drinking . he is very quite and goes ot sleep. he is not even a hard core drinker. i also just hate people who cannot tsand after drinking. i dont understand why the hell, do they drink when they cant manage themselves after that. fallen on the streets, abusing every second person who comes inm the way or infront, fighting, shouting, all thyat . i just hate it. we both dont drink and are very happy.

some people really loses control if they get drunk, it is terrible when it happens cause they can be a mean drunk and can get into fights and troubles. it's not good at all to be a mean drunk. i'm glad my husband is not out of control when he gets drunk and he also knows when to stop.

there are some people who wish to lose control before they drunk. so they lost control after it. most people know what they want to do and what they are doing. but they don't want to stop and want to be free at thet moment. so you will see they are out of control. but it is real? you may disagree with mine. yeh\\ there is the state like you said. but i think there is few.

you have a good point there buliangxianren, it is up to the person if he/she wants to lose control the time they are drunk even if they still know what they are doing. it's a decision whether we do the right thing or not, we can just sleep it when we get drunk but others dont want to stop, they like the freedom to say and do what they want since people know they are drunk and don't mean what they say and do, they think it's a good excuse to be drunk. Most people that are mean drunk has a lot of issues in life and they make it a reason to drink too much to either forget their problem or let it out their system so they won't go crazy. sad thing! thanks for stopping by.

much depends on the personality of the drunk. When im drunk i am the most caring person. When im not drunk its the same. I think being drunk makes you feel less afraid of showing your true self. Violent drunks who lose control in my opinion aren't in control when there not drunk.

hello there claire yes my dad was like that get drunk nearly all the time
but the doctor said if he keeps on doing it it will affect his liver and nearly for a year he has not drinked so thats good.
but i don't like it.

i don like it at all.i don drink.i tried 2 drink once...it was my birthday.i starting 2 get blur n doin some silly things.better not 2 say it out.it so embarassing..actually to tell u the truth, on that time i just drank not even half a glass..n i already started like crazy n hardly can't recognize anyone.totally suck ,ya.when the next day i woke up, my head is so so pain like gonna knock my head off.from that day onward, i swear not 2 drink no matter what special day it was..ssshhhhh...jus keep it a secret!

I lived all my life with my Mom being drunk most of the time so I don't drink at all I couldn't now if I wanted to cause I have high blood pressure

Yeah I hear some people really lose their control when they get drunk. My husband also drink but when he drink a lot what normally happen is just he will sleep very long, longer than usual. That's it..But I don't drink at all, so I don't know what's the feeling of getting drunk

It is terrible that losing control after drinking.some of my friends will lose control after drinking so much,including my old sisters.They always talking constantly,and then crying sadly,they behaviors out of control.But they find nothing after awaking next morning.Worse still,some people lose life in an accident for drink too much.In my opinion,it is important to drink below the level that we can drink.And drinking is bad for our healthy,we should drink as less as possible.

it is always good to be in control over your drinks and how much you drink so that you dont cause a worry for others and know how to manage yourself. by being drunk your only making a fool of yourself and stunning others
