Waitressing ... Uhhhh

God, Waitressing is the worst job possible. i work at a rest for 3 years now, good money just worst place to be in the world i am the most misserable person ever ... anyone ever done waitressing and move on to another job ... close to the same money you made waitresssing w/b thanks

Sorry I can't help you much but I am sorry to hear you don't like your job.
In Australia some cinemas hire waitresses for their "gold class" cinema's. The work is similar but a friend of mine who is a waitress says she prefers it to ordinary waitressing.
Maybe you could think about jobs you could get with a little training?

I have done waitressing and I think it depends on where you work. I worked in a silver service dining room and loved it but then I worked in a Chinese restaurant and hated it. They would hand all these dishes to me and I didn't know one dish from the other and kept giving the wrong meals to people and copped a lot of abuse. Perhaps you should try a different sort of place to work, that might help.
