Well it's just the worst job ever especially when you see the same people 3-4 times a day i work 530am til 130 am. ... no lunch break only 2 smoke breaks which i must suck the cigg down .. its really unfair ... it's family owned. i've never much such ignorant people in my life, very cheap & greedy.

I always had a bit of a dream to be a waitress in my younger days, but I guess in a nice restaurant, I think I fancied wearling the little black outfitwith the white apron, I have always liked that looking after people and doing maybe like a bit of a hostess but I think you are talking about a different type of waitress to my little dream....

Waitressing is a really crummy job in my opinion. I did it for about a year and got so fed up with it that I couldn't do it anymore and have not gone back since. You are always having to deal with crappy people, drunk people, and people that are just plain rude and never happy with anything. I totally understand where you are coming from and sorry your having to go through all that. Maybe something better will come along and you won't have to do that much longer. Good luck and God bless

I worked as a waitress when I was younger. I lasted exactly a week before I got fired! It looks like an easy job when you're not the one doing it! I think some women are just called to it and make excellent waitresses, but it's not for everyone (and apparently not for me)!

I also worked as a part time waitress for two year... it would have been nice if my co workers were not that greedy with getting tips... i belong to the minority so i was always bossed around by the full time waiters and was given the crappiest guest who gave very low tips... But then... i am glad i had that experience because it made me appriciate those in the customer service business more...
