Did you ever type your entire discussion, click start discussion & then freeze!

Hi njrealestategirl! Yes, it happened to me also. When I am still a newbie, I was responding in one of the discussion. I had typed so long when suddenly the page freezed and hanged up. I tried to refresh it, but unfortunately, all that I have typed was gone. So I have to re-type it again. It feels bad. Just be patience and I am sure you will reach 500 posts soon, so that you will have the privilege to copy and paste in the microsoft word. Have a nice day and God speed!

this happened to me a few times. the most annoying part is, i typed a very long discussion and made it so fun to read and the computer would hang and i wouldnt be able to remember what i typed! ^.^;; this also happen when im posting a reply. and it would happen in a very bad timing coz im so interested with the discussion and im having fun replying to it and i was making a long response and then poof! my pda wont respond. ^__^;;

No it's not mylot it's your computer, Mine does the same thing on different sites but not on mylot... I suggest you clean out your temp files and internet files so that way it won't keep freezing on you.. I do have a disk cleaner thing I could send to you and it works great actually I run it every night before I log off my computer so that i don't have hang ups when I do something I do forget sometimes though and that's when I get the freeze up here is the link http://www.snapfiles.com/get/diskcleaner.html and the best of all it don't take up much space! It does occur to me at times, it is annoying. I'm sorry that happened to you this very early, since I know how it can be frustrating when one cannot use the copy/paste options here. But I suggest that make it a habit in posting less numbers of words, be decriptive but don'ty be too deltailed in making the post long. Mylot has been suffering glitches eversince members grew more than 100,000, I just hope that they do something to address this problem and for us to enjoy good times here.

This has happened to me - either it freezes or somehow gets erased - some key I or my baby presses. Very frustrating! Sometimes for long responses too!

Yeah it happen to me before.It made me mad.i am sure you have to be.i am sorry.Late you can just copy it and save it.

Oh yeah, that's happened to me a couple of times. It really is annoying. One time I almost took it up with my PC. I'd have crashed it, but I calmed down. It really was a long piece and I was at pains to re-type it.

It happened to me a lot of times already. One time I retyped everything and copied the text just to be sure. When it happened again I pasted it but the i found out that I am not allowed to paste since I haven't reached 300 yet.

Unfortunately I have had similar problems before I got my cut & paste privileges. As another member pointed out, make smaller posts until you reach 500 and get yours enabled. Losing your whole discussion is a very annoying problem. Even after I reached 500 posts, I was preparing my discussions on a notepad to copy over. After enough lost posts, I decided it was the only way to prevent having to rewrite my discussions or replies when a glitch messes up the works. :)

I dont think I have had my computer freeze on me but that does not mean I have not had any discussion or post delited. I have my son to help with that. Once I wrote a discussion and he came to have a look and wanted to sit on my lap and as I lifting him I pressed the X at the top. Another time he was playing and puled the cable of the wall.
